Many congratulations to Shellby on finishing her M.S. up with a fantastic presentation at the 2019 AGU conference. We both managed to make it back from San Francisco in time for her to to to graduation to celebrate!
My new paper, with Laura Toran, is in early view at Hydrological Processes. For this paper, we used high temporal sensors to look at diel variations in nutrients and conservative tracers at different distances below wastewater treatment plants. Many don't realize that plant effluent changes throughout the day, creating a signal that could be misinterpreted as nutrient processing. However, we were able to start piecing apart what was transport from what was processing, along with seeing how it changed with distance below the plant!
